No Man Alone, Every Man a Leader — that phrase sums up our men’s ministry at Lake Ridge. Activities and groups range from one-on-one mentoring and small accountability groups to weekly Bible studies. Super Wednesday fellowships (last Wed. each month), annual retreats, conferences and other events prepare men to be leaders in their homes, businesses, community, and church.
Mission Statement
The foundation for everything we do in men's ministry can be summed up by the phrase, "No Man Alone, Every Man A Leader." Our goal for men is that no one will have to walk alone, and every one of us will be the leader God called us to be. It is a fact that we need each other. God said it was not good that we be alone therefore, he gave us a helpmate in our wives. Also God meets our needs for relationship through friendships with others. We place a high value on "Man to Man" groups. The purpose of these group sis for building relationship and accountability. Satan's main tactic to destroy or derail us from God's best is to isolate us from others. Let us come together and share the yoke. The focus of men's ministry is to build upon one or more of the points that we find fundamental to a man's walk with God:
