They joined CAM International on July 19, 2002. Alfie is currently production coordinator with various duties such as providing ongoing print production support to the CAM organization through various print media solutions. Alfie is primarily responsible for design, format and production of the bi-annual prayer guide, missionary prayer letters and cards, four issues of CAM Family news per year, and a wide variety of production support activities. Karen provides hospitality in their home when needed, helps take care of the upkeep of five apartments at CAM Center, helps provide meals for CAM Board functions and for candidate orientation.
They currently host a home team here at Lake Ridge and are also involved with International Students as Friendship Partners with a student from China.
There is a vast network of missionaries like Alfie and Karen who serve behind the scenes. These missionaries use God-given gifts and talents, laboring with their hands, caring for the needs of field missionaries. They serve as part of a team helping the local church and its missionaries carry out the Great Commission.
