Since Literature Ministries began in 1996 we have created publications to enable Christians to minister more effectively in areas that lack strategic evangelism or discipleship resources. For example, when we found a gap in evangelism materials to specifically show Catholics how they can find salvation through faith in Christ alone, “kingdom strategy” guided us to create tracts written by former Catholics. Those tracts have found readers in the North and Central America, Cuba, the UK, Ireland, and Australia.
We maintain a website ministry with two online devos that are read on six continents daily by thousands. Our site also allows us to make all our publications available to be read any time, anywhere on earth.
Finally, since our first months we have helped like-minded ministries in the creation of tract resources to expand their effectiveness. In recent years “publishing partnerships” have allowed ministries in other countries to translate and adapt our materials for their use. We sometimes help financially; other times our role is to provide our electronic design files (free) to accommodate translation and adaptation. Our strongest partner, Interlink Brazil, has already distributed over one million pieces of LMI-based literature in Portuguese in the past three years!
All that to say…at Literature Ministries we’re intent on being strategic in addressing vital 21st century issues.
